Friday Night

A bitter taste saying this, but I have to admit that my sister gave me probably one of my top 5 experiences in my life thus far. Complexions Ballet was riveting. And my favorite set out of the three that they preformed happened to be the world premier of it. When it was over, we stayed for the Q&A and got to hear other peoples reactions to it. One woman said, "I came expecting to see a performance but it really became a spiritual experience, and I'm a nice Jewish girl."

Afterwards we got to go backstage. I was introduced to The choreographers/owners and two of the dancers, Natalia and Clifford, I believe. At first I was kind of star-struct but it was like in the movies when you finally start talking and just ramble. I made sure to tell them all they were spectacular.

One thing unfortunate -differentiated from movies or T.V. is that the camera focuses in on something to see. Sometimes there'd be more than 1 act going on, or at 1 time there were about 5 pairs of people on stage and they all were doing something different. You want to watch all of them but you have to divide your attention the upmost. It's like listening to 5 conversations. I blinked probably once every 15 minutes.

Of course everyone's strictly prohibited from pictures or video, but I don't think I'd want to share that anyways; this is truly something you should experience yourself. I took these few shots, camera phone swag, but that's all y'all get.
