I told these niggas well in advance I'd be getting emotional. Bleek thought it was funny to catch pictures and videos of me faded, lost in the music. lol. Couldn't believe I was there without her.
I've started seeing your name show up more on my various social media since the accident and began reading your blog. I've been following it for the last month and felt compelled to finally write and express my appreciation for your beautiful writing and stories. I didn't know Maggie very well; she and Candice were close to my boyfriend, but the accident hit me hard as well. I wanted to thank you for blessing us with your memories and stories of Maggie and for updating us on Candice's recovery. Your photographs and writing are so special and you are truly helping keep her spirit alive. Thank you for being so raw and real; know that your words and pictures are touching others. You and everyone else affected by this tragedy are in my thoughts, prayers and heart every day.
I agree 100% with the comment above me. I didn't know Maggie or Candice personally but I was scrolling through twitter the day after the accident, I suppose & their initials continued to appear on my timeline. Out of curiosity I clicked on their initials. Instantly my heart sank. I have never in my life felt hurt for a stranger nor their loved ones like I did when I began to read people's tweets. Maggie seemed like nothing less than a beautiful soul. The relationship her & Candice shared seemed surreal to me the first time I heard about it. But what was so obvious to me was the genuine love they shared for one another. That love was so powerful that even a stranger could sense it through a simple picture. I have to be honest and say that I've followed your blog ever since that day . If I'm really being honest I'll tell you that since that day my life hasn't been the same. I needed to see what I saw that day when I read your posts. Maggie left the absolute greatest legacy that a person could have left. She left her love. She touched a complete strangers heart & THEIR story has changed the way I live my life. I hope you know that you,her boyfriend, and their families have been in my prayers everyday faithfully. You are doing an amazing job of letting the world know about them.
